Murder in Canada Gideon Rachman says the US, Britain and Australia are so invested in their relationship with India “that they will do their utmost to brush any unpleasantness under the carpet”.

The Big Sort continues. An NYT Story of two families. One fleeing a Blue state to a Red state, and the other fleeing a Red state to a Blue state. This has gone from normal human tribalism to people moving due to existential threats. As usual, blame should be placed at the right doorsteps, Rupert Murdoch’s and Zuckerberg empires that spew lies, sell fear, and amplify misinformation. Not only is there no negative consequences for this anti-social media behavior but they are rewarded with handsome profits. Sick amoral fucks.

### Great Basin Controversy around Lithium mining in the US West. Where do you stand? I am slightly in favor of mining but only if we improve the process/regulation of handling waste and tie that to the permit. Then give enforcement to the EPA and not BLM.
