CyArk
CyArk is always a good way to while away some time exploring cultural sites in 3D. In this link you can explorer Lamanai Mayan temple in Belize.

BioGeography
We need a new name for the study of Genetics and BioGeography. Genetic analysis is a tool that is fast growing and being widely adopted in many disciplines and I love it when it ties into Geography. Here’s an example on the spread of the German Cockroach.

PNW
The Rise of Hate. Great story in HCN about the history of hate in Western Washington and it’s history rippling in and out from the rest of America. I did not know the American Legion had it’s roots in White Nationalism. In my mind it is history rhyming with powerful interests influencing the ignorant to the detriment of the human condition. Back then it was anti-union timber barons, right now it’s Rupert and Zuck, rhyming on and selling fear, because fear sells. There can’t be an “Us” if you don’t demonize “Them”.
